Synopsis :

Gong Choi-king (Crystal Tin) is brought into the palace with her daughter, Lau Sam-ho (Charmaine Sheh), and their serving girl, Yiu Kam-ling (Tavia Yeung). As she comes from a very distinguished line of jewellery makers in the kingdom, she is assigned the task of making a beautiful headpiece in the shape of a phoenix, inlaid with precious stones and tails made from the feathers of exotic birds for the Empress Dowager (Susan Tse). However, during a flower viewing outing, the phoenix headpiece worn by the Empress Dowager suddenly bleeds tears of blood. Taking this as a sign of bad luck, she throws it away and demands that Choi-king be punished. She dies as a result of the harsh beatings. Before she passes away, she tells Sam-ho to always remember the significance of her name, "Speak good words, do good deeds, show good will". (Sam-ho literally means three goodness).
At the same time around Choi-king's death, Lee Yi (Moses Chan), the young prince of Concubine Cheng (Mary Hon), meets the six years old Sam-ho. He showed kindness to Sam-ho by giving her some white flowers from Choi-king's favourite tree so she can take it to her dying mother. Later when he had to leave the palace without his mother, when he feigned mental illness as an excuse to escape the imminent death threat by the Empress Dowager, Sam-ho gives him some sweet 'tong lin-chi', to comfort him on the journey. Because of this, the young prince develops a good feeling for her.
The Imperial Household Bureau is responsible for managing and directing all household services to the Emperor and the Imperial family of the Tang Dynasty. It is made up of four departments, namely the Houses of Jewelery, Attire, Food, and Furnishing. Sam-ho and Kam-ling are introduced into the bureau in their childhood and are brought up as the disciples in the palace. The two girls are very diligent. Yuen Tsui-wan (Susanna Kwan), Head of the Jewels, and Chung Suet-ha (Michelle Yim), Head of Attire, are both very fond of Sam-ho for she is a kind-hearted young girl and shows great capabilities in the decorative arts of jewellery and silk work. Both of them fight bitterly to have Sam-ho in their departments. In the end, Sam-ho is assigned to Department of Attire while, Kam-Ling is assigned to the Department of Jewellery.
Years later, Sam-ho meets Ko Hin-yeung (Kevin Cheng) the palace scholar and chess teacher, where a secret love blossoms between them. The young prince Yi, now grown up, returns to the palace and becomes the Emperor after evading assassinations with the help of Sam-ho and Hin-yeung. He promotes Hin-yeung as the Palace General because of his faithfulness. Sam-ho later becomes the Head of the Jewel Department. Even though the Emperor has deep feeling for Sam-ho and wants have Sam-ho as his concubine, he decides to bury his feeling for her when he discovers that Hin-yeung and Sam-ho love each other.
Sam-ho and Kam-ling continue to enjoy a very close friendship, treating each other as sisters and this provokes jealousy among other palace girl servants. Time and again some of them will try to get Sam-ho and Kam-ling into trouble. However, Sam-ho's honesty and kind attitude endears many powerful people in the palace to her and they always help her out. Whereas, Kam-ling uses her cunning mind to get rid of her enemies. As time passed, Kam-ling realised that to stop the bullying and to be able to survive in the palace she has to be someone powerful and respected. Therefore, she slowly works on a scheme to gain favour of the Empress Dowager Cheng, Yi's mother. She was eventually chosen as one of the Yi's concubines. From there she works on a bigger scheme to get rid of all her competitors.

Eliza Dushku plays a young woman called Echo, a member of a group of people known as "Actives" or "Dolls". The Dolls are people whose personalities and existence in the outside world have been wiped clean so they can be imprinted with any number of new personas—including memory, muscle memory, skills, and language—for different assignments (referred to as engagements). The new persona is an amalgam of several real people, and the end result necessarily incorporates both strengths and flaws from the template personalities. The Actives are then hired out for particular jobs, which can be anything from crimes to fantasies to the occasional good deed. On engagements, Actives are monitored internally (and remotely) by Handlers. In between engagements they are mind-wiped into a child-like state and live in a futuristic dormitory/laboratory, a hidden facility nicknamed "The Dollhouse". The Dollhouse is located somewhere in Los Angeles and is a subsidiary of a mysterious research group known as the Rossum Corporation.
The story follows Echo, who begins, in her mind-wiped state, to become self-aware.

Synopsis:

And as Betty walks into a nursery for the unborn Meade, she sees Wilhelmina telling the construction crew about putting a window there. The second thing that has changed is Daniel, who is now downstairs heading up sister publication Player magazine. Nevertheless, she gets assigned to head up their Harley event, which has been plagued by a prankster spraying silly string on one the models, so she tells Daniel that she will take care of the situation by filling in for the injured biker. And as she does, Betty sees Daniel Jr., who then sprays silly string on her helmet, resulting in a major catastrophe, and Marc and Amanda are delighted to be on hand to soak up the hilarity. The third thing that has changed is her place of residence. It appears that the apartment-hunting Betty just got duped by a savvy realtor after she buys an overpriced apartment, sight unseen. Ironically, this place seems to have issues, among them a "Sexy View" spot that reveals a elderly nude couple. The Suarezes band together, however, and clean and decorate Betty's pad. At the same time, Betty meets her next door neighbor Jesse, who is very attractive. Betty also gets a chance to see Ignacio's boss at Flushing Burger, which turns out to be managed by Kimmie Keegan (Lindsay Lohan)...Betty's long-time nemesis since childhood. When Betty and Hilda confront Kimmie over Ignacio's working hours (among other things), Kimmie waste no time at all reviving their feud, leading to a food fight which had to be broken up by police and Betty's idea binder getting deep-fried in the fat fryer. However, Kimmie decides the make things right with Betty after she reveals about being jealous of Betty's success. Meanwhile, Alexis and Wilhelmina promote the next issue of Mode on Live with Regis & Kelly, but somehow that interview took on a different twist when Wilhelmina revealed on the show that she had funded money for Claire's magazine Hot Flash. With the help of Homeland Security agent DON SELF (Michael Rapaport), they assemble a group of allies and familiar faces to accomplish their task: MAHONE (William Fichtner), SUCRE (Amaury Nolasco), BELLICK (Wade Williams) and computer expert ROLAND GLENN (James Hiroyuki Liao).

Unfortunately for the brothers, they must also evade Company assassin WYATT (Cress Williams) and find an on-the-loose T-BAG (Robert Knepper), who unknowingly possesses a vital clue to help them pull off their most difficult challenge yet.

Synopsis

The drama will be about two men whose fates are crossed from the very first day that they were born. Both men were born in the same hospital. When he was a teenager, Lee Dong Chul witnessed the death of his father. From then on he promised to seek revenge on the man who caused his father’s death, Shin Tae Hwan. But unbeknownst to everybody is the fact that Dong Chul’s younger brother, Dong Wook, was switched at birth with Tae Hwan’s son, Myung Hun.
