Synopsis :
So far this season, Meredith and Derek haven't hit many rough patches. Meredith stumbles across her dead mother's diaries. Callie and Erica have a fling; however, Callie has a hard time adjusting to life as a lesbian. She "cheats" on Erica in the on-call room with Mark Sloan. During the episode, Rise Up, Izzie has a minor melt-down when she begins to see Denny everywhere, after meeting the man whose donor heart she stole in order to save Denny during season 2. When Erica learns of Izzie's actions, she insists that everyone should be punished, and plans to report not only Izzie, but the hospital as well, angering not only Chief Webber but Callie as well. Alex and Izzie have also rekindled their romance. Lexie had a crush on George but when he didn't notice, she moved on. Cristina shared a kiss with an army doctor named Owen Hunt (played by Kevin McKidd). A couple episodes later, Hunt was named Head of Trauma. In the most recent episode Cristina shared another kiss with Dr. Owen Hunt.
